Tonight there is one decision that will change the way you sleep — you can measure your life by what you can see, or you can rest on what God has already proven. Here is the truth most of us forget when we lie down worried: the evidence of God's faithfulness is not in front of you. It is behind you. Every day you have already survived was a promise being kept. Look back over your own story and you will find His fingerprints on pages you once thought were ordinary. This is a prayer for the one whose faith felt strong on Monday and very thin by Friday, for the one who has prayed the same prayer for years, and for anyone who needs to remember that God has never once been late, never once been unfaithful, and never once forgotten a promise He made.
