After greeting the massive columns of the Ancient Agora from the outside, I reached the historic Anafartalar Avenue via Gaziosmanpaşa Boulevard. For me, this route felt like a journey through time—moving from the upper neighborhoods of modern İzmir into the city's ancient soul.
