This is one of those simple tools that has made a huge difference in my busy life: my brain dump notebook. As a working mom, wife, mom of three, pediatric physical therapist, friend, daughter, and someone trying to create space for myself too, there are always a LOT of things happening in my brain. Everything from appointments, school schedules, work tasks, dinner, sports, family responsibilities, things I need to remember, and things I don't want to forget. Sometimes it feels like I have too many tabs open in my brain. That's where my brain dump notebook comes in. In this video, I'm sharing why writing things down helps me get tasks and thoughts out of my head so I'm not mentally carrying everything around all day. I talk about cognitive offloading, mental clutter, overthinking, stress, and why sometimes the simplest thing you can do is grab a notebook and write it all down. You don't need a perfect planner system. You don't need fancy supplies. Sometimes you just need to get it out of your head. If you're a busy midlife mom who feels overwhelmed by everything you're trying to remember and manage, I hope this video gives you permission to put some of that mental load down. 💬 Do you use a brain dump notebook or another system to get things out of your head?
