वायुराशि वायु की वह राशि जिसमें तापमान, वायुदाब तथा आद्रता में लगभग क्षैतिज समरूपता पाई जाती है, वायुराशि का लाती है । वायुराशि के वर्गीकरण का आधार अक्षांश, स्थल जल का वितरण सतह का उष्मन और शीतलन तथा वायुमंडलीय स्थिरता और अस्थिरता है । वायुमंडल संचरण के कारण वायुराशियां एक दूसरे से मिश्रित होती हैं वायु राशियों का वर्गीकरण सूक्ष्मस्तर पर भी किया जाता है । Airmass Mass of air having nearly uniform temperature, pressure and humidity horizontally is an airmass. The criteria of classification is latitude, land water distribution, heating and cooling and stability and instability. Due to atmospheric circulation two airmasses mix together.
