Watch my Mumbai to Mangalore bus journey by Navami Travels Sleeper bus. This bus was earlier running under the name of Welcome travels. It is an Ashok Leyland bus with 36 sleeper berths. My bus was full at Chunabhatti itself as it was taking labourers to Mangalore. It arriver quite early as that was the only pickup point. The bus driving was pretty good doing good speeds and especially the horn. I reached Karavali Bypass at 6:12 am the next day. There was an accident at Yellapur Ghat due to which we had to take a U-turn and take an alternate route. The most exciting bit was racing with BharatBenz Sheethal Travels. We did overtake it but could not maintain that speed like Sheethal travels for long. After that we didn't see Sheethal travels at all. The crew were very friendly and supportive, we did overtake quite a few buses on the way as well like Ganesh Travels, Bharathi Travels, NEKRTC, NWKRTC etc. The bus travels through the Yellapur Ghat and Khambatki Ghat.
