Persistent Faith

Every time you step into an elevator or get in your car to go somewhere, you exercise a form of faith. You’re trusting that you will soon arrive where you’re headed. But spiritual faith is far more than that. It is more than you giving a mental nod to the claim that there is a God. It’s more than piling up all our reasons why we believe this world was created vs those who believe this world is the end result of an evolutionary explosion. True faith is our hearts & souls responding to God’s revelation of who He is, and placing our trust in Him to reunite us to Himself, by applying Jesus’ atoning sacrifice on the Cross. The cry of Hebrews is for all who trust in Jesus, to persevere in their faith, because through Christ we have the guarantee of a better sacrifice, a better hope and a new covenant of grace, that is better by far.
