Silence… The city never sleeps. Neon lights fade one by one. And I’m still running… Though I don’t know where I’m going. Another night, another light across the glass, Another thought I can’t silence in my head. Every day leaves another scar behind, Every step says, “Don’t turn back, move faster.” There’s a noise inside my head that no one hears, Fire beneath my skin, while silence masks my face. They said, “Let it go,” but they don’t know the price, A man pays when he’s fighting all alone against his shadow. And even if the whole world falls apart, I won’t let it take away my voice. Though my heart breaks one more time, I rise again… I rise again. YOU WON’T BREAK ME! Though concrete falls from the sky! YOU WON’T STOP ME! I still just want to breathe! Let the night burn, Let the whole world shake! I’ve got a concrete heart, But there’s fire burning inside! Don’t ask me how many times I wanted to disappear, How many times I’d had enough of everything. I closed the door, but the problems stayed, So I learned to look them straight in the eyes. Every fall taught me how to rise again, Every mistake showed me who not to trust. I don’t need anyone’s promises anymore, I am my own light in the middle of these streets. Maybe I’m not who I was meant to be, Maybe I lost too much along the way. But when I hear this rhythm, I know I haven’t said my final word.
