Hey friends, and welcome back to A Touch of Country! Today I've got the sweetest little dish with — are you ready? — just four ingredients. Four ingredients, no cooking — watch these berries make their own sauce! Strawberries, blueberries, honey, and lemon. No cooking, no fuss, and in 15 minutes those berries make their very own sauce right in the bowl. These are my Honey-Kissed Berries, and I think you're going to love them. Let me show you how I make them. You'll need: 1 lb strawberries (about 3 cups, hulled and quartered) 2 cups blueberries (about 1 pint) ¼ cup honey 1 Tbsp fresh lemon juice That's the whole list — two berries, honey, and lemon. Step by step: Rinse both berries gently in a colander, then spread them on a clean towel and pat them good and dry. Dry berries matter — the sauce clings instead of sliding off. Hull the strawberries and cut them into quarters (halves if they're small). Leave the blueberries whole. Put all the berries in a pretty serving bowl. In a small bowl, stir the honey and lemon juice together until the honey loosens and pours easy. If your honey is stiff, warm the bowl 10 seconds in the microwave first. Pour the honey-lemon over the berries and toss gently with a soft spoon or spatula — blueberries bruise easy. Let the bowl sit 15 minutes. This is the magic step: the lemon pulls the berries' own juice out, and it mixes with the honey into a light sauce right in the bowl. Give it one more gentle stir, spoon into bowls, and make sure everybody gets some of that sauce from the bottom. And that's it, friends — Honey-Kissed Berries, just four ingredients and 15 minutes of patience. Thank you so much for spending a little time with me today here at A Touch of Country. If you enjoyed it, I'd sure be grateful if you'd like, subscribe, and tap that little bell so you don't miss a thing. Until next time — be kind, stay cozy, and God bless. I'll see you right back here tomorrow."
