Di 1102 on loan: Marlborough Flyer - October 2026 (HD)

During late October 2026, the Diesel Traction Group's Di 1102 was towed north from Christchurch to Blenheim behind Steam Incorporated's DC 4375, along with their South Island carriage fleet in preparation for the 2026/2027 season of the Marlborough Flyer. The Di is on loan to Steam Incorporated to work these cruise ship trains, in partnership with Pounamu Tourism Group and also a selection of Steam Incorporated excursions over the summer.
