This properties setup sacrifices chaos specials sniping bps for attack speed on charm. Throwing axes are pretty mediocre but I think they get way more hate than they deserve. The upsides are, pretty decent bps (listed on ranald's gift), very high cleave and good fire rate, the problems are the akward shot arch and severe damage dropoff. The most meta approach is definitely going with 'Master of Improvisation' for bomb spam via ult - done by throwing and picking up axes underneath you. But this approach is way more fun and honestly, the most fun I've had playing RV ever. Even though my build is oriented towards being more melee focused, I pick bomb talent on lvl 30, since on official it's extremely high impact + it helps if you get overwhelmed with Great Axe. Gaxe is my preferred melee weapon in general, and with attack speed bonus from ales+properties it becomes way easier to handle and can put out serious damage against all enemy types, in this run, vs monsters dps was the most prominent, as that's what the team otherwise lacked. I highly recommend Execute if you are going to use Gaxe (at least cataclysm), since the buff, it's actually very solid even vs hordes, while allowing for rapid thp gen vs elites. Very important thing is management of number of throwing axes at any given moment - you want to be out for Last Resort, but you need to know when to recall them (and how many) for any given situation, which is dependant on the type of special and how many are there.
