Kevin Loveland Health Update: Recovery, Gratitude & the Future of Safe Ride

Kevin Loveland sits down with KC to share a personal health update after an incredibly difficult year — and most importantly, to say thank you. Kevin talks about the illness that changed his life, the treatments and doctors he sought along the way, the support and prayers he received from people throughout Union and Wallowa counties, and the recent test results that he says showed he is now parasite-free. He also shares how facing his own mortality changed the urgency behind Loveland Safe Ride. Kevin realized that Safe Ride could no longer depend on one person to keep it going. Over the past year, the program has taken major steps toward becoming sustainable — including becoming a nonprofit, growing recurring community support, holding its first golf tournament, receiving its first dedicated Safe Ride vehicle, and launching #OneOf2000.
