Somerset Maugham’s The Letter, the mystery unfolds on a British rubber plantation in Malaya. After Jeff Hammond is shot, Leslie and Robert Crosbie—and their friend, attorney Howard Joyce—become entangled in a troubling legal case, complicated by a letter whose value may reach $10,000. Molle Mystery Theatre presents the original broadcast with a newly produced contextual introduction, a short closing announcement, and gently cleaned/mastered audio for a more consistent listening experience.
