Bibbulmun Track - day49

Day 49 - Giants to Frankland River September 21, 2025 Took a latish start a bit after 8am, no rush since the Treetops Walk doesn't open until 9 and is 1.7 km away. Some elevation and plenty of spectacular tingle trees along the way, we got to the Treetops Walk a bit early as anticipated. The high walk was spectacular, well worth the $21 ticket price, and plenty of highlights on the ground level walk as well. Spent two hours+ at the attraction. The hike from the TTW to the hut was also a delight, many red / white Tingles and Karri Sheoaks dotted along the trail, a stream crossing and then a bridge over the Frankland which we then followed to the hut of the same name, all along a lovely leaf littered and well defined track. Rhea got in less than an hour after us, and the hut is probably the best we've seen with a verandah and decking floor, and the whole hut raised on stilts and with glorious views of the river and forest.
