7 Greek Monsters Everyone Pictures Wrong

The Siren you picture has a fish tail. The Greeks gave her the body of a bird. Hesiod gave Cerberus fifty heads, Medusa started out with a grin full of fangs, the Minotaur had a real name, the Cyclopes were the gods' weapon makers, the Harpies were beautiful storm winds, and the Kraken is not Greek at all. Seven Greek monsters, the oldest versions in the ancient texts and vase paintings, and how we ended up with the versions you know, in about 15 minutes.
