Thoughts Have No Beginning

Thoughts Have No Beginning is an original piano composition by Kenneth Carlino. Reflective phrases unfold into one another, suggesting an endless stream of thought without a clear beginning or final boundary. The piece was created with my proprietary procedural music-generation system, which composes and performs original MIDI music from programmed musical rules and a deterministic seed. The system is not AI: it does not use machine learning, language models, training songs, or imitation of existing music.
