A guy who really loves urban rail systems, and if you follow my channel closely, you surely know that I mostly posted videos about urban rail stations in Singapore because I had stayed there for 2 years, and then in my hometown - Hanoi. And now it's time for the city where I'm working: the capital of Malaysia - Kuala Lumpur, which has a modern and convenient metro train system, playing a significant role in serving the travel needs of the people living here. This is my video recording about Alam Sutera LRT station which was made in 2025. Hope you enjoy it! Trong thời gian làm việc và cư trú tại đây, mình sẽ tranh thủ ghi hình về các ga tàu điện ở KL và vùng đô thị xung quanh thành phố này, hy vọng sẽ nhận được sự đón nhận nhiệt tình của các bạn. Video này ghi hình về ga Alam Sutera là ga tàu điện trên cao thuộc Hệ thống đường sắt đô thị Thung lũng Klang của vùng đô thị Kuala Lumpur. Alam Sutera là một ga LRT trên cao ở Puchong, bang Selangor thuộc tuyến Sri Petaling (line nâu). Ga được đặt tên như vậy do gần vị trí của khu nhà ở Alam Sutera. Ga được khai trương vào ngày 31 tháng 10 năm 2015 như một phần của dự án Mở rộng tuyến LRT kéo dài của tuyến Sri Petaling từ ga Sri Petaling đến ga Putra Heights. Ga này nằm dọc theo Đường cao tốc Bukit Jalil, Bandar Kinrara, Selangor. Phía bắc của ga là khu công nghiệp Bandar Kinrara, phía nam của ga là Warna Kinrara. Cũng nằm gần ga là Chung cư The Zest @ Kinrara 9 và Denai Sutera. Trong tiếng Mã Lai, Alam Sutera thường được hiểu là "Thế giới tơ lụa". Cái tên này có thể gợi lên sự gợi cảm, gợi ý về một nơi thanh lịch, sang trọng và tinh tế, phù hợp với các tiện nghi thương mại và cuộc sống chất lượng cao trong khu vực được đặt tên. According to Wikipedia, the Klang Valley Integrated Transit System is an integrated transport network that primarily serves the area of Klang Valley and Greater Kuala Lumpur. The system commenced operations in August 1995 with the introduction of commuter rail service on the existing rail between Kuala Lumpur and Rawang. The system have since expanded and currently consists of 11 fully operating rail lines in a radial formation; two commuter rail lines, six rapid transit lines, one bus rapid transit line and two airport rail links to the Kuala Lumpur International Airport's (KLIA) Terminal 1 and Terminal 2, and one temporarily suspended airport rail link to the Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport. The system encompasses 528.4 kilometres (328.3 mi) of grade-separated railway with 197 operational stations. Alam Sutera station is an elevated LRT station in Puchong, Selangor served by the Sri Petaling Line. The station is named after the station's location in the Alam Sutera housing estate. The station opened on 31 October 2015 as part of the LRT Line Extension project which extended the Sri Petaling Line from Sri Petaling station to Putra Heights station. This station is located along the Bukit Jalil Highway, Bandar Kinrara, Selangor. To the north of the station is the Bandar Kinrara industrial area, to the south of the station is Warna Kinrara. Also located near the station are The Zest @ Kinrara 9 Condominium and Denai Sutera Apartment. In Malay, Alam Sutera is generally understood as "World of Silk" or "Silk World". This name is likely evocative, suggesting a place of elegance, luxury, and refinement, which aligns with the high-quality living and commercial facilities offered in the area.
