In this week's adventure, we explore the striking landscapes of the Lomond Hills in Fife, starting with the iconic Bunnet Stane. This 400-million-year-old sandstone formation is home to the mysterious Maiden’s Bower cave and a wealth of local legend.
We then take on the steady climb to the summit of West Lomond Hill. Reaching the peak offers some of the most expansive and rewarding views across the Fife countryside, perfectly capturing the spirit of finding your own pace in the great outdoors. We round off the journey by descending through the atmospheric Glen Vale to visit the historic John Knox’s Pulpit and the beautiful waterfalls tucked away in the glen.
Whether you’re interested in Scotland's unique geology, ancient history, or just the quiet beauty of a hill walk, I hope this journey inspires you to get outside.
