WE’RE BACK! 🌿 Clearing Land, Firewood, Woodchip & Honey | Autumn Garden Update

🌿 WE'RE BACK! A BIG UPDATE FROM THE GARDEN & OUR LAND 🌿 It’s been a while since our last video, so we’re finally back with an update on our garden space, our land, and everything we’ve been working on behind the scenes. Over the last few months, we’ve been making progress clearing more of our land and turning what was once a huge pile of fallen trees and branches into something useful. 🌲 Clearing the land & processing trees Last year we felled some large trees, and this year we’ve finally been able to get stuck into cutting them up and stacking the timber. Some of the wood is being set aside for firewood, while other larger pieces will eventually be taken to a sawmill to be processed. 🔥 Firewood preparation There’s still plenty to do, but getting the timber cut, stacked and organised is another step towards having our firewood ready for the colder months. 🌱 Making woodchip mulch We also had a HUGE pile of sticks and branches to deal with, so we’ve been chipping them up and putting the resulting woodchip to good use as mulch on our garden beds. It’s a great way of recycling material from the land while helping protect and improve the soil. 🍯 Honey harvesting & processing We’ve also finished harvesting and processing our home-produced honey for the year. It’s always satisfying to see the results of all the work that goes into keeping bees and producing our own honey. ❄️ Getting ready for winter With autumn approaching, we’re now turning our attention towards preparing the garden for winter and getting our static caravan ready for the colder weather. There’s still a LOT to do, but slowly and steadily we’re transforming our land and garden into the space we’ve been dreaming about.
