Bolesławiec is one of Poland's most famous pottery towns, with a ceramic tradition that dates back for centuries. In this episode, we begin our journey at Bolesławiec Railway Station before walking through a peaceful park and a historic cemetery on our way to the renowned pottery factory.
Inside the factory, we join a guided tour to see how the famous Bolesławiec pottery is made. We watch rows of unfired ceramic pieces waiting on carts, observe the glazing process, and see skilled artisans carefully applying the town's iconic hand-painted patterns.
Although we were unable to participate in the pottery workshop and make our own ceramics, we enjoyed exploring the factory and finished our visit by choosing one beautiful piece each from the factory shop to take home as a lasting memory of Bolesławiec.
Thank you for joining us on another peaceful journey through Poland's history, craftsmanship, and culture.
