Summer in Szczecin is not one single story.
In this video, I share three small episodes of summer — moments of light, water, architecture, and nature that caught my attention while living in this Polish city.

Episode 1 — Summer Light in the Church
I return to a church that I first visited during the dark Polish winter. In summer, the evening sunlight transforms the interior, revealing the colors of the stained-glass windows, the deep blue ceiling, golden stars, and paintings around the altar.
Episode 2 — Fountains of Szczecin
From bright afternoon sunshine to summer rain and the softer light of evening, fountains become part of the rhythm of the city. We visit two places in the city center of Szczecin, Zamenhof Square, and Stefan Batory Square.
Episode 3 — A Summer Evening at Głębokie Lake
On the evening before the summer solstice, the weather creates an unexpected sequence of colors — a rainbow, a rose-pink sunset, a long northern twilight, and finally the moon and Venus reflected on the lake.
These are not necessarily Szczecin’s most famous tourist attractions. They are simply three episodes of summer as I experienced them — small moments that together create my image of summer in this city.
This video has Japanese narration with brief English captions to support the flow of the story.
