A very common problem on RV slide out rooms of many styles and mechanisms is the floor support. Often manufacturers will not even install rollers and rely on guide strips or wear bars. However, when you are lucky enough to have rollers installed, often those rollers can wear and damage the underside of the slide floor too if the surface is soft or fabric over time. The owner of this Damon Astoria was running into this issue and wanted to prevent further damage and prolong the life of the RV and improve the performance of the slide out rooms. So he asked me to install shoes, skiis, plates, strips or whatever you want to call them on the two passenger side slide out rooms. It is a fairly simple installation and design and even though we have installed these or these type of shoes before, it is always good to see another one. Thanks for watching!
