God's First Question to Adam | Genesis 3 Christian Rap | Dust You Are | #002

One question in a garden, and everything came apart. But God came walking anyway. "Now the serpent was more crafty than any beast of the field that the LORD God had made. And he said to the woman, 'Did God really say, "You must not eat from any tree in the garden?"'" (Genesis 3:1, BSB) Dust You Are walks through Genesis 3 in order. The serpent twists God's word, the fruit is taken, eyes are opened, and fig leaves are stitched together to hide the shame. Then the voice comes walking in the breeze of the day, and the man and his wife hide among the trees. "But the LORD God called out to the man, 'Where are you?'" (Genesis 3:9, BSB) "For dust you are, and to dust you shall return." (Genesis 3:19, BSB) Right in the middle of the curse, before the thorns, God makes the first promise of the gospel: "He will crush your head, and you will strike his heel." (Genesis 3:15, BSB) "And the LORD God made garments of skin for Adam and his wife, and He clothed them." (Genesis 3:21, BSB) The promise holds all the way through Scripture: "But when the time had fully come, God sent His Son, born of a woman" (Galatians 4:4, BSB), and "The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet." (Romans 16:20, BSB). The tree they were kept from shows up again on the last page, beside the river: "No longer will there be any curse." (Revelation 22:3, BSB) 0:00 Intro 0:34 Verse 1 1:24 Pre Hook 1:36 Hook 1:51 Verse 2 2:27 Hook 2:48 Bridge 3:28 Verse 3 3:53 Final Hook 4:19 Outro The visuals are animated line art drawn in code, with no AI imagery.
