Art Deco Avenue - A drive down 3rd Street, Springs South Africa.

Springs has some wonderful examples of 1930s and 1940's Art Deco buildings. This drive down the main road of this once thriving gold town shows a handful of them. There are approximately 25 exceptional examples of Art Deco in the Old CBD. Unfortunately many are in a state of disrepair as the state does not recognize their heritage status and many owners do not value the artisitic value.
