I saw Jesus sittin in the shade today

I saw Jesus sittin' in the shade today, Resting by the dusty, quiet way. He smiled at me and gently waved His hand, Bringing peace across the weary land. Beneath the leaves, the world just faded out, Replacing all my heavy fear and doubt. A moment's rest upon a sunny day, Where all my cares began to drift away.
