A ring of stone above the breakers. Words that will not come, and tears that do. MY TEARS BECAME AN OCEAN begins with grief leaving the body and becoming a landscape large enough to hold it. Rivers gather into the sea. Then morning reaches the surface, and the water that looked like an ending begins to carry something living. The song does not make the loss smaller to make room for hope. The prayer beside the ocean asks for protection from the future, for faithfulness when life becomes wreckage, and for the strength to do right when hurt makes wrong feel justified. The future arrives anyway. The harder question becomes how to keep pain from taking another living thing from the heart. The third verse places the lost child beyond the line of vision, among angels and the breakers. It is an image of faith inside the lyric, held beside an explicit limit: nothing emerging from this water can replace that child. New life cannot serve as a substitute, and remembrance does not have to prevent life from continuing. Both truths have to fit in the same song. The bridge brings the ocean back to the hands. Will grief close them? Will it turn the heart to stone? Or can what has poured out become something that carries another life? That is where the movement becomes a choice rather than a promise that pain automatically produces something good. The ending offers life reaching through sorrow while leaving every cost remembered. Post-rock, ballad and cinematic are the production directions. The structure asks for a close, sparse opening, light entering the first pre-chorus, and width that is deliberately held back before the larger releases. The third verse and bridge pull inward again. Only the final chorus is directed toward maximum weight and space, before an outro reduced to voice, piano and decay. The arrangement plan follows the water's changing meaning instead of treating grief as one continuous crescendo. The last return to the ring of stone matters. The place has not been erased. The person standing there has not forgotten. Light can enter what was cried, and love can keep moving through it.
