Richard James Anthony Noble, OBE (born 6 March 1946) is a Scottish entrepreneur and former holder of the World Land Speed Record. He drove Thrust2 to 633 mph in 1983 and directed the ThrustSSC project, which broke the sound barrier at 763 mph in 1997.
