Village Life In Iran Mountains Far From Civilization / Storing Like Villagers 🍅

Hello dear friends 🌿 I’m Firoozeh! Today, I’m taking you into the heart of village life in the tropical plains of Iran – a place where everything is natural, simple, and full of peace. In this video, I bought four baskets full of fresh, local tomatoes. After washing them, I sliced the firm ones and placed them on a rack to slowly dry under the warm sun . The rest of the tomatoes I chopped with a knife and placed in a big pot over the fire to slowly cook down into a thick, flavorful, and rich homemade tomato paste. The aroma of fire and fresh tomatoes filled the entire yard. For lunch, I cooked a traditional and simple dish called “Gojeh Bademjan” using the local tomatoes from Ilam and fresh eggplants from our garden . It turned out just as delicious as it looked. In the end, I stored the homemade tomato paste in jars for the cold winter days ahead, and collected the sun-dried tomatoes to enjoy later as a healthy and tasty side. This traditional way of preserving food has been part of rural culture for generations.
