Lecture 2: Critical Path Network - From Work Plan to Control Model In this lecture, we will convert Project Inputs (WBS, activity list, durations, logic) into a complete CPM Network. Topic Covered: 1. Construct CPM Network using AON / AOA 2. Run Time Analysis: Forward Pass (ES/EF) and Backward Pass (LS/LF) 3. Calculate Float: TF = LS-ES = LF-EF. If TF=0 = Critical Activity 4. Identify Critical Path: Longest path which controls project finish. Any delay on it delays the whole project. 5. Test, Update & Control Cycle: How to use CPM for real site control 6. Calendarization with Example Project Duration Outcome: A testable control model with current forecast, float, and completion priorities.
