The Meon Valley Trail: Hampshire's latest parkrun experience

The Inaugural Meon Valley Trail parkrun, today (12/04/25) held in ideal running conditions along the disused railway line at Wickham. 388 runners turned up, quite a few locals, and an almost 50/50 split of male and female runners (191/193 + 4 unknown) in the newest parkrun on the south coast. Now, the route is nothing special—it's a typical out-and-back route along the line—but it is scenic among the trees, possibly sheltered (we won't know until a windy day), and you can't get lost, take too many laps, or forget how far you've gone.
