Mount Edith Cavell, The Angel Glacier, Jasper AB, CANADA

Hiking at Mount Edith Cavell, has everything, glaciers, icebergs, stunning water, and breathtaking views. One of my favorite hike in Jasper AB, Canada. The hike is accessed by a long winding road. There are 2 very large parking lots, as well as an overflow parking. It has every element you could want: glaciers, waterfalls, creeks, evergreen forests, snow-capped peaks for miles...you name it, it's there and it’s breathtaking. To summit the peak you have to traverse quite a bit of loose shale and boulders, it's very steep with a lot of scrambling. You won't regret it. 360 view from the very top literally takes your breath away. I could've spent hours up there just soaking it all in. This hike is now number 1 on my favorites list. On a side note, there's a "trail" to the glacier viewpoint that is paved, gradual inclines and wheelchair accessible. It's just lovely! You get a sampler of everything from the long trail, but in a bite sized piece, that anybody can do. So, whatever else you do in Jasper, don't miss this hike!
