🚂 RARE RAILWAY ACTION AT WORCESTER & KIDDERMINSTER! | Flying Scotsman, Class 37, Class 66s & More! Join us for another fantastic day of railway filming around Worcestershire, visiting three locations and capturing a brilliant variety of passenger, freight and special locomotive movements! 📍 LOCATION 1 – WORCESTER WYLD’S LANE JUNCTION We start our day at Wyld’s Lane Junction in Worcester, filming from Perrywood Walk Bridge, where we capture several GWR passenger services alongside an interesting freight working. 🚛 Freight Working: • 6V05 – 09:12 Round Oak to Margam T.C. 📍 LOCATION 2 – SPETCHLEY LOOP, WORCESTER Next, we head to Spetchley Loop on the busy Bristol/Cardiff to Birmingham main line, where we capture a selection of CrossCountry passenger services. The main highlight here is an interesting top-and-tail freight movement featuring two Class 66 locomotives, 66678 and 66788. 🚛 Freight Working: • 6M42 – 09:36 Avonmouth Hanson Sdg GBRf to Penyffordd Cement GBRf 🚂 Locomotives: • 66678 • 66788 A great sight seeing both Class 66s on this freight movement! 📍 LOCATION 3 – KIDDERMINSTER FOOTBRIDGE Our final filming location is Kidderminster Footbridge, which offers a fantastic vantage point overlooking both the Severn Valley Railway (SVR) and the main line. From here, we capture some excellent railway action, including regular West Midlands Railway passenger services and a couple of particularly interesting special movements! 🚂 60103 FLYING SCOTSMAN – RAILADVENTURE MOVEMENT One of the biggest highlights of the day is the appearance of the world-famous steam locomotive 60103 Flying Scotsman, accompanied by RailAdventure Class 43 power cars 43484 and 43465. We capture the movement arriving at Kidderminster and heading into the Severn Valley Railway for a break before continuing its northbound journey towards Shildon. 🚆 Working Details: • 5Z45 – 09:42 Didcot Great Western Soc. to Kidderminster S.V.R. • 5Z46 – 14:42 Kidderminster S.V.R. to Shildon 🚂 Locomotives/Power Cars: • 43484 – RailAdventure • 43465 – RailAdventure • 60103 – Flying Scotsman Certainly a fantastic and memorable movement to capture from the footbridge! 🚂 CLASS 37 – 37405 ON AN UNUSUAL WORKING Shortly after Flying Scotsman continues north, another interesting working appears as Class 37 No. 37405 passes through Kidderminster hauling four barrier wagons.
