Yeshua answered: “Do not put the Lord your God to the test.” He would not deliberately create danger and then demand that the Father prove His faithfulness. That distinction matters. FAITH says: “God called me here, so I will trust Him.” PRESUMPTION says: “I'll put myself here and make God prove Himself.” Psalm 91 isn't permission to live recklessly. And even when trouble comes, He has not abandoned us. The Psalm doesn't end with humanity speaking about God. It ends with God speaking: “Because he loves Me, I will rescue him.” “Because he knows My name, I will protect him.” “When he calls, I will answer.” “I will be with him in trouble.” “I will deliver him and honor him.” “With long life I will satisfy him.” “I will show him My salvation.” ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ✝️ AND THEN COMES YESHUA Yeshua did not avoid every danger. He walked directly into the mission given to Him by the Father. He was rejected. He suffered. He entered death itself. And He rose. That gives the words of Psalm 91 an even deeper weight. Our hope is not merely that nothing painful will ever happen to us. Our hope is in the God whose authority reaches beyond suffering, beyond fear, and even beyond the grave. The night is still dark. The arrows still fly. But fear is no longer our master. We dwell beneath the shadow of the Almighty.
