SEARCH ME — a song based on Psalm 139. “You have searched me, and You know me.” Psalm 139 is one of the most personal prayers in Scripture. He knows every hidden room of the heart. And still He calls us near. This song isn't a prayer of condemnation. It's a prayer of surrender. Search the pride I call conviction. Search the fear I call control. Search the lust I call temptation. Search resentment in the soul. Search the envy behind ambition. Search the wounds we never grieved. Search the faith we show in public. Search the truth of what we believe. Because sometimes the hardest prayer isn't: “God, change them.” It's: “Abba, search ME.” Show me where my public faith and private life don't agree. Show me the motives underneath the things I do. Show me the wounds I buried instead of healing. Show me where fear is pretending to be wisdom. Show me where pride is pretending to be righteousness. Then lead me in the everlasting way. Yeshua already knows every failure, every scar, every anxious thought and every place we've tried to hide. The answer isn't to clean ourselves up enough to approach Him. It's to step into the light.
