As the moon begins to pass across the sun, the seaside slowly changes around it — brightness fades, colours cool, shadows sharpen, and the familiar beach takes on an eerie stillness. The harbour, shingle shore, and wide Thames Estuary become the backdrop to something much larger: a brief celestial interruption in the middle of an ordinary day. 🕰️ Highlights, History & Local Lore The focus of this walk is the sky.
