Walking in England (Part 2) Wainwright's Coast to Coast

In late May of 2023 my partner and I embarked on our second walking trip in England. This year’s trip included a 5 day warmup in the Peak District, and then a longer stretch on the well known Coast to Coast trail. The trip was bookended by a few enjoyable days in London. As you will see in the video, we were self-contained so we camped much of the time, but we also stayed in small inns and hostels when available. This video is not a day by day account of the walk. Instead I’ve created a travelogue and shown you the particularly interesting or picturesque parts of the trip. In Part 2 of Walking in England Ruth and I tackle Wainwright's Coast to Coast trail. We traverse the Lake District, the Yorkshire Dales, and the North York Moors, visiting the lovely towns of Grasmere, Kirkby Stephen, Reeth, Keld, and Richmond along the way.
