Following Kalkaji Rape Case, government's decision to ban entry of people in parks after 7 Pm has erupted massive protests in Delhi University. First, girls from South Campus colleges like Lady Shree Ram, Gargi, JMC, KNC protested over rising crimes against women at Siri Fort Road and yesterday the protest reached DU North Campus, where a massive group of girls took over the Vivekananda Statue at Arts Faculty and asked for a safer environment in all educational institutions.
