I Changed My Ancestor's Parents — Here's What Ancestry ThruLines Did

What happens to Ancestry ThruLines when you finally identify and add the parents of a long-standing family mystery? In this video, I return to the Beaton Batten Mystery and add William “Willy” Beaton's (1874–1954) parents to my family tree. Then I look at how that change affects Ancestry's updated ThruLines and, more importantly, how ThruLines begins showing DNA matches and the possible paths that connect them through the family tree. I talked about my "in common with tree" research before, but this is a great example of why DNA research and traditional genealogy need to work together.
