Ancestry ThruLines has a fresh new look—and there’s a lot here for genealogists to explore. In this video, I take you through the redesigned ThruLines experience and show how the changes may help us see our DNA matches, ancestral connections, and possible research paths in a different way. But remember: ThruLines is a research clue, not proof. The real value may be in the questions it raises. Does a suggested connection fit the records? Are there new descendants or family lines worth investigating? Could a DNA match help strengthen—or challenge—what you currently have in your family tree? I’ll show you what I’m seeing in the new ThruLines view and share what I think is worth paying attention to as you use it for your own family-history research.
