Paragliding Pen Dinas, 5th September, 2026

Tom & I launched from the lower launch field at Pen Dinas, on a bright, fairly breezy September afternoon, in buoyant conditions, allowing us to get some altitude, and me to make the half mile or so transition from Pen Dinas to the Allt Wen sea cliffs to the south of Aberystwyth, and from there to the caravan park at Morfa Bychan. I did not, however, manage to get high enough to cross Morfa Bychan without risking 'bombing out', - (landing short).
