Paragliding Constitution Hill, Aberystwyth & to Borth & Llanrhystud & back, 9th Sept. 2026.

A beautiful early autumn afternoon, with amazing conditions for paragliding. Rou, Tom & I had excellent flights, but I was fortunate enough to be able to fly along the sea cliffs from Constitution Hill to Borth, back to Consti, and then cross Aberystwyth to reach Pen Dinas. From there I transitioned to the Allt Wen cliffs and on to Llanrhystud and back to Aberystwyth South Beach again via Pen Dinas. I had thought of finishing the flight by getting back to Aberystwyth North Beach by soaring the Old College building, but thought better of it at the last moment - no sensible landing options if I failed to find lift - so landed on the South Beach instead. Probably a wise decision! I have only ever managed to do this epic Borth - Llanrhystud round trip once before, on 7th August 2023, but with crossing Aberystwyth, (the crux!), the other way from south to North. (Link below).
