Hyderabad to Chirala Road Trip With Pet | Latest Road Conditions of NH65, NH167A | Closest Beach To Hyderabad | Riviera Beach Resort In this video, we take you along on our Hyderabad to Chirala road trip with our Shih Tzu, Rio, as we head towards the beach for a weekend getaway. Located around 350 km from Hyderabad, Chirala is one of the popular beach destinations for a road trip from the city. We started our journey at 7 AM in September and reached Riviera Beach Resort in Chirala at around 1 PM, taking approximately 6 hours to cover the distance. One of the highlights of this drive was the new highway connection near Chilakaluripet. During our previous trip to Chirala two years ago, we had to drive through the congested town roads of Chilakaluripet. This time, the new connection via NH16 and back to NH167A helped us bypass the town, making the journey more convenient. We also stopped for breakfast at Carnival Food Court near Chityala, where we had a good meal at Utsavam. It was a convenient stop with ample parking, EV charging facilities, and an outdoor seating area where you can sit with your pet. If you're planning a Hyderabad to Chirala road trip, especially with your pet, this video covers the route, highway conditions, breakfast stop, travel time, and toll charges to help you plan your journey. 📍 Route Taken: Hyderabad to Chirala Hyderabad ORR → NH65 → NH167A → Short stretch on NH16 near Chilakaluripet → NH167A → Chirala 🚗 Hyderabad to Chirala Road Trip Details Starting point: Hyderabad Destination: Riviera Beach Resort, Chirala Distance: Approximately 350 km Start time: 7:00 AM Arrival time: Around 1:00 PM Total driving time: Approximately 6 hours Travel month: September Total toll charges: Approximately ₹365 🍳 Breakfast Stop — Carnival Food Court, Near Chityala We stopped at Carnival Food Court for breakfast, just before Chityala. The food court has multiple options, including KFC, Haldiram's, and Utsavam. We chose Utsavam, and the food tasted really good. The food court also has ample parking space and EV charging stations, making it a convenient stop during a long road trip. Travelling with a pet? There is an outdoor seating area where you can order food from the restaurant and sit with your pet. This made it a practical breakfast stop for us while travelling with Rio. 🛣️ Hyderabad to Chirala Road Conditions Our route covered the Hyderabad ORR, NH65, NH167A, and a short stretch of NH16 near Chilakaluripet. NH65: Since we travelled over the weekend, we encountered quite a bit of traffic on NH65. There were also several diversions along the highway, which slowed us down. NH167A: Once we connected to NH167A, the traffic reduced, and the roads opened up, making the drive more comfortable. New bypass near Chilakaluripet: One of the notable improvements compared to our previous trip was the new connection that takes you onto NH16 for approximately 3 km before reconnecting to NH167A. Earlier, we had to drive through Chilakaluripet, where the roads were narrow and traffic was congested. This new connection helps avoid that stretch and can save some time. Despite the weekend traffic and diversions on NH65, we reached Riviera Beach Resort at around 1 PM. 💳 Toll Charges & Annual FASTag Pass The total toll charges for the journey were approximately ₹365. We have an annual FASTag pass, which covered most of the applicable tolls on our route. The Hyderabad ORR toll was the only section for which the toll amount was deducted separately through FASTag. 🏖️ Our Chirala Beach Getaway With Rio After completing the drive from Hyderabad, we reached Riviera Beach Resort at around 1 PM and were ready to begin our beach getaway with Rio.
