Our first day in Istanbul, Türkiye did NOT go as planned. 🇹🇷 After four days waiting for better weather, we finally explored the city—and immediately found ourselves surrounded by heavy police presence and unanswered questions. We crossed the Bosphorus from the Asian side to the European side, explored Eminönü’s Spice Bazaar, experienced Turkish tea culture, visited historic areas, and discovered that sometimes travel unfolds very differently than planned.
