Homestead is split into two sections, North and South. The North side was built in phases from roughly 2012 to 2020, and D.R. Horton owns land there that may be built in the next few years. There are parks throughout, a lake, soccer and basketball courts, and walking trails. The HOA on the Homestead North side is $52 a month, the lowest in the City of Maricopa. Homestead South is $85 and it's gated, one of only two gated communities in town alongside Province. As of August 2026, the average home in Homestead North is around $397,000, with the low near $280,000 and the high near $599,000. Average size is about 2,280 square feet, ranging from about 1,454 up to 4,240. The three homes toured here are a starter home, a bank-owned home, and a luxury home at the top end.
