The chapter begins with a sobering message from the prophet Isaiah: Hezekiah must put his house in order because he is going to die. Faced with the reality of death, Hezekiah turns his face to the wall and prays to the Lord. He weeps bitterly and reminds God of how he has walked faithfully before Him. Before Isaiah has even left the middle court, the word of the Lord comes to him again. God has heard Hezekiah's prayer and seen his tears. The Lord promises to add fifteen years to his life, deliver him and Jerusalem from the king of Assyria, and give him a sign to confirm His word. God causes the shadow on the sundial of Ahaz to move backward as a sign of His promise. This remarkable event demonstrates that the Lord is sovereign over creation and that His power is not limited by human understanding. The chapter also records Hezekiah's personal song after his recovery. He reflects on the pain and fear he experienced, acknowledges that God has restored him, and declares that the living can praise the Lord and make His faithfulness known to future generations. Yet Hezekiah's testimony also reminds us that life is a gift from God. Our days are in His hands, and we should use the life He gives us to worship Him and proclaim His goodness. ✨ **Key Theme:**\ **ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಯನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ಜೀವವನ್ನು ಕೊಡುವ ದೇವರು!**\ *The God Who Hears Prayer and Grants Life!* Today, we will learn: *Turn to God in prayer when you face a crisis.* *God sees your tears and knows the pain of your heart.* *Nothing is beyond God's power, but we must trust His wisdom and will.* *Use the life God gives you to praise Him and testify of His faithfulness.* Hezekiah's experience encourages us to bring our deepest fears and needs before the Lord.
