Stanley D’Souza 🏠 *Ministry:* His Way Ministries, Bangalore 📜 *Series:* The Book of Isaiah — Kannada Bible Study 📖 TODAY’S STUDY In today’s passage, we will study *Isaiah 37:1–20* and learn an important lesson from King Hezekiah: when problems overwhelm us, we must bring them before the Lord in prayer. After hearing the threatening words of the Assyrian commander, King Hezekiah tears his clothes, puts on sackcloth, and goes into the house of the Lord. Instead of responding in panic or surrendering to fear, he seeks God's direction through the prophet Isaiah. Isaiah encourages the king not to be afraid because of the words he has heard. God is not intimidated by the threats of powerful kings or the strength of their armies. Later, Hezekiah receives a threatening letter from Sennacherib. Rather than allowing the letter to control his heart with fear, *Hezekiah takes the letter and spreads it out before the Lord.* He brings the very thing that threatens him into the presence of God. What a powerful example of prayer! Hezekiah does not merely tell God how big his problem is; he acknowledges how great God is. In his prayer, he declares that the Lord alone is God over all the kingdoms of the earth and the Creator of heaven and earth. He then presents his request before the Lord, asking Him to deliver Judah so that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that the Lord alone is God. This passage reminds us that prayer is not simply asking God to solve our problems. It is also acknowledging His sovereignty, trusting His character, and seeking His glory through our circumstances. ✨ *Key Theme:* *ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಯನ್ನು ದೇವರ ಮುಂದೆ ಇಡಿ!* *Bring Your Problem Before God!* Today, we will learn: *Seek the Lord before allowing fear to control your decisions.* *Bring your burdens, threats, and difficult situations honestly before God.* *Focus on God's greatness rather than the size of your problem.* *Pray not only for deliverance but also for God's name to be glorified.* You do not have to carry every burden alone.
