Inside Tokyo’s DAWN Avatar Robot Café

I spent the day exploring a different side of Tokyo, starting at the Mitsui Memorial Museum for an amazing exhibition of 100 Japanese tea bowls dating from the 12th to the 20th century. After a stop at a local shrine, I wandered through Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi — Tokyo’s answer to Harrods! I met up with Rich and Damon at DAWN Avatar Robot Café, then stopped at Hie Shrine on the way back. I came away with a beautiful shrine stamp, complete with calligraphy done by hand.
