Flyover: Flooding Elgin Oregon 4-10-2019

The Grande Ronde River breaches its banks in the small town of Elgin in East Oregon. Several days of rain and snowmelt caused the flooding but an overnight cold front will slow the melt, as seen with a fresh layer of snow in the mountains that feed Phillips Creek, the tributary seen in the latter sequence of aerials.
