L’empathie (FR ) L'empathie n'est pas d'aller sauter dans un trou pour aider à remonter celui qui y est tombé. L'empathie, c'est lui tendre la main pour l'aider à en sortir. Il a pu tomber ou y être projeté. Nous n'en savons rien. Et l'empathie est déjà là. Elle lui tend la main. Il peut la saisir ou non. L'empathie peut rester là un moment, parfois longtemps, la main tendue. Mais cette main doit être saisie à un moment. L'empathie tend la main, mais elle ne la force jamais. Même si son but est d'aider, la décision appartient à l'autre. Elle respecte cette décision. Puis, à un moment, l'empathie continue sa route. Et le trou restera la demeure principale de celui qui y loge, S’il ne la saisit pas. _______ Empathy (ENG) Empathy is not about jumping into the hole with the person who is in it. Even though its purpose is to help, the decision to take that hand belongs to the other person, and empathy respects that decision. At some point, if the hand is not taken, empathy continues on its way.
