Fiat X1/9 front boot weather seal

As with all rubber items, these age and lose grip. End up trapping water rather than protecting against it. Original weather strips no longer available and, to be honest, modern stuff is better. The originals always go bad in two main places: 1) in the middle in front of the windscreen - the lip they sit on is shallower so they have less chance of gripping. 2) over the nose cone - a critical area that faces most ram air/rain. For this reason, when putting in a new weather seal, I started it to one side - leaving a continuous, undisturbed strip over the centre section. Before fitting, the lip is sits on was rust treated where needed. Dynax S50 again and again I have no affiliation to the company and get no payment from them. Music wise, I personally don't like it when people add elevator music during fast-forward scenes. Reckon you are all petrol heads so put on sound of this car having fun instead. And fun this car definitely is, as are all X1/9s.
