We Kept Going | Red Wing, a Lock Drop & Lake Pepin | Mississippi River Trip Video 2

We actually kept going. After Minneapolis we pointed south, grabbed breakfast, and dropped through Lock and Dam 3 with one other boat. They threw us a line and down we went. First real stretch of the trip that felt like the trip. Tied up in Red Wing, wandered the riverfront, found a cute town up the hill, and then hit Lake Pepin. I still don’t have the right words for that water. Ended the day at Lake City Marina. This is video 2. Still taking our time. Still living on the boat. Still figuring it out as we go.
